- Profile Data: Your interests, preferences, and B2B matchmaking criteria.
2. How We Use Your Information
We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:
- To process your event registration and issue your ticket/badge.
- To facilitate the B2B Matchmaking platform and connect you with relevant delegates.
- To manage our relationship with you, including notifying you about event updates, schedule changes, or policy changes.
- To administer and protect our business and this website (including troubleshooting, data analysis, and system maintenance).
- To deliver relevant website content, newsletters, and promotional materials (where you have explicitly opted in).

We do not sell your personal data. For B2B matchmaking, your basic professional profile (Name, Company, Job Title, Interests) will be visible to other registered delegates to facilitate networking.

We use this information solely to send you event updates, programme announcements, speaker news, and post event materials related to GABS 2026.
Newsletter subscriptions require double opt in confirmation. We record when you subscribed, when you confirmed, and technical details such as IP address and browser type to protect against abuse and demonstrate consent.
We retain newsletter data while you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we keep a minimal record for up to 90 days for compliance and deliverability purposes, after which it is deleted. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in every newsletter email or by contacting info@gabs2026.com.
Under the Ghana Data Protection Act 2012 and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, or delete your newsletter data, and to object to processing.
